We are seeking a compassionate and quality-driven board certified physiatrist (PM&R) physician to join our post-acute care team in Tucson, Arizona. This is a full-time opportunity (5 days/week) rounding in an inpatient rehab facility, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential. Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $232,000 to $279,000 annually and no cap on productivity income potential.

Our comprehensive clinical and operational leadership team will support your transition into our medical practice with a comprehensive 3-month onboarding program along with a dedicated clinical field mentor and support from industry leading clinical experts in post-acute medicine. Modules in our Medical Director Leadership Academy (MDLA) will position you for success in quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with the facility leadership as a valued partner of the team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inpatient medical assessments, including history, physical exams, and review of rehabilitation goals
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with the rehabilitation plan
- Monitor functional progress and adjust treatment plans to support recovery goals
- Collaborate with rehabilitation physicians, nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members
- Provide medical education to patients and families related to recovery, comorbidities, and prevention
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations
- Current physician license (State of AZ) and DEA
- Experience in post-acute or acute clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply
- Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
