About the Role:
Join TeamHealth in the Birmingham, Alabama area, as an Emergency Medicine Attending!
Our partnership with Baptist Health includes 5 ED's (Walker, Shelby, Citizens, Princeton, Brookwood) plus the Brookwood FED. Three of the sites are in Birmingham proper, the other 3 are within a short 45 minute commute. Whether you're looking to work at a dedicated trauma center, slower paced FSED, or a lower volume site, our Baptist Health sites provide you with an array of practice settings.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred. Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with significant EM experience, also accepted.
- Strong clinical skills in emergency medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a variety of emergency settings.
- Leadership experience in a medical environment.
