We are an award winning domestic and international heavy weight freight forwarding company in South San Francisco.
Must be available to work in an office in South San Francisco weekdays 8 hours between 7:30am -7pm. No hybrid or work from home. We have free parking.
THE POSITION:
- Representative will be responsible for providing excellent customer service via customer’s preferred method - email, phone, and text
- The position is a desk job with no lifting heavy items or forklift operation.
- We are a heavy freight forwarder dealing with urgent shipments. Work pace can be fast and hectic at times.
- Benefits include heath Insurance and paid vacation.
- Full time salaried position.
- Monday through Friday 8 hours between 7:30am - 7pm in the office in South San Francisco
SKILLSET:
- Freight forwarding/logistics experience preferred but we will train, however you must have customer service experience in a business environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for communicating with customers via the phone
- Professional written communication skills for responding to customers, coworkers and vendors via email and text.
- Must be detail oriented
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to master our proprietary software
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Expect 90 days to come up to speed.

- Working closely with the operations and sales team
- We control shipments from A-Z: pick up, route via air/ground/ocean, delivery.
- We handle both domestic and international shipments
- Thursday is our busiest day of the week.
- End of quarter is our busiest time
