What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Metal Fabricator position at Team Witt Customs?
Looking for an experienced and reliable metal fabricator to join our team.
You will use a variety of hand and power tools as well as large equipment to fabricate, assemble, and install fabricated metal components. Our ideal candidate can be trusted to work well with other team members as a team and also independently. They are dedicated to fabricating high quality products in an efficient manner to serve our customers well.
Metal Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use hand and power tools to fabricate sheet metal parts, including floor pans, body panels, repair panels, and body modifications.
- Build custom, stainless exhaust
- Roll cages& tubing fabrication
- Suspension fabrication and modifications
- Gas Tanks
Metal Fabricator Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Proficient in Tig Welding Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminum
- Experienced with metal working tools & equipment
- Familiar with bending, cutting & coping tubing
- Proficient with equipment to include English Wheel, Bead Roller, Power Hammer, Metal Break, Metal Shears, Plasma Cutter, Tig & Mig Welders, Planishing Hammer, Shrinker/Stretcher, Fixture Table, Hammer Forms, Tubing Bends, & Notcher, Band Saws, Material Stamping and more.
- CAD experience is a plus
