BASKETBALL PLAYING AND COACHING EXPERIENCE MUST BE INCLUDED ON YOUR RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED.
Duties
- Execute engaging basketball practices that improve skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship 2X per week
- Open availability every weekend in the Fall to coach tournaments, providing strategic guidance and encouragement to maximize performance
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff to promote a positive team environment
Qualifications
- Prior coaching experience in basketball; AAU coaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and game strategies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate youth athletes
- Background in sports coaching combined with certifications such as CPR/AED operation preferred
