What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineer position at Team TSP?
Primary Responsibilities:
As a Professional Engineer on our team, you will perform structural calculations and prepare construction documents for a wide variety of challenging projects. You should have a strong knowledge of mechanics of materials, wood design, reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry design. You must have a good understanding of, and the ability to read and interpret structural calculations and construction drawings.
Specific Duties:
- Develop full construction documents (drawing and specifications) for complex structural systems and renovation projects
- Perform site observations for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
- Write clear and concise reports
- Assist in the training and professional development of EIT's
- Effectively communicate within TSP's multidisciplinary system of architects & engineers along with building owners, property managers, and contractors
- Keep updated on applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulations
- Champion TSP

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration
- Registered as a Professional Engineer
- Knowledge of RAM, RISA, Revit and Enercalc is preferred
