Sales Development Representative

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / ACTIVITIES
Are you a self-driven person who likes challenges and learning a new industry? Believe it or not, there are tens of thousands of companies all over North America that use torque tools. These torque tools require ongoing calibration, and that’s where Team Torque Inc. leads the industry – servicing all makes, models, and ranges of torque tools right here in North Dakota.
Right now, our company has a rare Sales position open, and we need your help to grow and expand.
The right person will be able to initiate and retain prospect outreach, actively listen to prospect needs, and have a goal-oriented mindset.
This position offers commission on top of a base pay, which puts you in control of your earnings.
SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Don't know torque tools? That’s okay, we’ll train you.
- Communicate and document clearly
- Get (more) new tools in the door
- Develop and expand B2B relationships by phone, email, and conference calls, to attract new customers
- Contact current customers to send in their tools for service.
- Create new opportunities to sell service contracts for businesses.
- Understanding of service-based sales process
- Ability to work independently and with a team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Education Required. College or Vocational background desired
- 1-2 years of sales experience required, preferably sales of services
- An acceptable combination of education and experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base Pay hourly starting at $47,000 per year/depending on experience, plus uncapped commission opportunities. (base pay plus commissions total $60,000-$75,000 potential in the first year)
