We are seeking a dedicated and organized Billing Specialist to oversee the daily billing operations of our tire and automotive service store. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, customer service, and administrative duties to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities
Office Administration:
- Oversee day-to-day billing operations to ensure efficiency.
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Manage customer files and ensure proper record-keeping, including invoices, sales, and service records.
- Partner with HR to maintain office policies
- Collaborate with the Tire Store Manager to establish and maintain procedures
- Update payments and account balances in our software program
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions about billing transactions and pricing.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure payments are complete.
Financial Management:
- Process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Ensure accurate billing and receipts for customers.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including daily cash reports and sales summaries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in billing management or AP/AR services
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic accounting software

- Communication: Communicate effectively with the management team
- Attention to detail: Focus on all areas of a project or task, no matter how small
- Time management: Organize and plan how to divide your time between different activities
- Administrative support: Provide administrative support to the Tire Store Manager when needed

Working Hours:
- Part-time, 20 hours, no more than 30 hours weekly
- 8am-12pm
- This position has the possibility of becoming full time in the future***
