Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Community Support Professional (CLS & Respite)
Location: Livonia, MI
Job Type: Part-Time (15–20 hours/week with opportunity for additional hours)
Pay: $15.00–$20.00/hour (based on experience)

We're a loving, busy, and joyfully messy family looking for a compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professional to become an important part of our 8-year-old son Thomas's life.
Thomas is playful, kind, adventurous, and has an incredible sense of humor. He loves arts and crafts, baking, parks, library visits, water play, snow, sand, and exploring the community.
He communicates using an AAC device, sign language, gestures, and his own unique communication style. He understands much more than he may show, and we're looking for someone who will presume competence, encourage communication, and always treat him with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities:
- Support Thomas at home and in the community.
- Participate in crafts, baking, sensory activities, outdoor play, and outings.
- Encourage communication using his AAC device and sign language.
- Prepare simple meals and snacks.
- Assist with toileting as needed.
- Help build independence through everyday routines.
