Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and maintaining a secure environment through attentive surveillance and conflict management. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent judgment, and a commitment to safety protocols. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as CPR and First Aid.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor surveillance systems including CCTV to observe activity and respond promptly to suspicious behavior
- Control access points by checking credentials and logging visitor information
- Respond effectively to security incidents or emergencies using conflict management skills
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism activities
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary until emergency services arrive
- Complete detailed incident reports accurately and promptly for any security-related events
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV is preferred
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, or related emergency response training is a plus
- Demonstrated ability in conflict management and loss prevention techniques
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
