Team Red Dog is hiring a Business Operations & Executive Communications Manager for our client, a Fortune 50 technology and intelligent cloud leader. This role sits within a high-visibility Azure marketing organization supporting Azure databases and Databricks initiatives, where you’ll partner directly with senior leadership to drive executive communications, rhythm of business (RoB), cross-functional alignment, and strategic operational execution. The ideal candidate brings strong business management, program operations, and executive storytelling experience, with the ability to translate complex priorities into clear actions, communications, and measurable outcomes. Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. Business management and operational leadership experience supporting senior executives, including driving Rhythm of Business (RoB), executive reviews, planning cycles, prioritization, and organizational alignment across large cross-functional teams.
  2. Executive communications expertise with experience drafting internal communications, leadership messaging, newsletters, social content, executive briefings, blogs, and organizational updates in enterprise technology environments.
  3. Cross-functional program management experience managing complex initiatives across Product Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Field organizations while driving accountability, follow-through, and execution at speed.
  4. Strong strategic problem-solving and execution skills with the ability to independently synthesize ambiguous inputs, create executive-ready deliverables, identify operational gaps, and proactively drive solutions forward.

 

Opportunity Overview:

This opportunity supports a highly visible Azure marketing organization focused on Azure databases and Databricks initiatives within a global cloud business. The role offers broad exposure to executive leadership, strategic initiatives, organizational communications, and enterprise marketing operations. You’ll help improve alignment, execution velocity, and communication effectiveness across a fast-paced team while contributing to key business initiatives that support cloud and data platform growth. The position is ideal for a polished operations or Chief of Staff–style professional who enjoys balancing strategy, communications, operational excellence, and leadership enablement in a collaborative enterprise environment.

How you will make an impact:

• Serve as a trusted partner to marketing leadership, supporting planning, prioritization, and execution across strategic initiatives
• Drive Rhythm of Business (RoB), including leadership meetings, executive reviews, agendas, follow-ups, and action tracking
• Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Field teams to ensure organizational alignment and execution momentum
• Independently synthesize information, create executive-ready deliverables, and drive workstreams forward with minimal direction
• Identify risks, operational gaps, and dependencies while proactively recommending solutions
• Lead internal communications efforts including newsletters, leadership updates, initiative awareness campaigns, and organizational messaging
• Support external communications including social media content, blog amplification, and executive-ready messaging
• Build and maintain communication cadences aligned to business priorities and organizational initiatives
• Support marketing budget tracking, spend visibility, and coordination with finance stakeholders
• Assist with quarterly planning, goal tracking, governance processes, and operational compliance requirements
• Translate high-level strategic direction into actionable plans, deliverables, and measurable outcomes
• Maintain strong execution discipline across multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-moving enterprise environment

The expertise you bring:

• 5–8 years of experience in business management, executive operations, communications, consulting, or marketing operations
• Proven experience supporting senior leadership and operating effectively in high-visibility enterprise environments
• Strong executive communication skills with experience creating polished internal and external messaging
• Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups
• Ability to influence without direct authority and build strong working relationships across organizations
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and operational execution capabilities
• Experience working in fast-paced enterprise technology or cloud-focused organizations preferred
• Familiarity with executive reviews, planning cycles, field alignment, and organizational operating rhythms preferred
• Ability to manage ambiguity and independently drive workstreams to completion
• Strong judgment, ownership mindset, and attention to detail
