TPT offers after-school programs and the Prime Time Games® to serve over 3,000 youth per year. Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Inclusion Sports Coach or Referee located in Los Angeles County, CA. The role involves coaching, refereeing, and supporting inclusive sports programs for at-risk youth and students with disabilities. The Inclusion Sports Coach or Referee will be responsible for promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and mentorship within the programs.
Requirement:
●Understand the PTG mission & rules
● Working with students who have disabilities (Autism, Down Syndrome and etc.)
● Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
● Must pass a live scan background check and have a negative TB test
Job Types: Temporary, Part-time
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited College or University
- Teaching credential or coaching/referee experience
- Must have one year of experience working with children with disabilities
- Coaching and Sports Training experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in inclusive sports programs or working with at-risk youth and students with disabilities
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive sports environment
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must have transportation
