Team Metric Inc is seeking candidates for a full-time entry-level accountant to join our team of growing professionals. We are open to hiring recent graduates preferably with work experience in accounting-related fields. Potential candidates should live within commutable distance from the company office and dedicate working collaboratively with other team members.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduates or entry-level workers with accounting backgrounds.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
- Work experience in accounting role preferred
- English & Mandarin Chinese Proficiency required
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Able to keep organized filing systems & discuss task priorities & completion status
Responsibilities:
- Manage an invoice email inbox, review invoices for accuracy, and issue payments
- Manage accounting transactions, produce financial statements
- Partner with designer teams on supplier payment issues and invoice revision
- Bookkeeping, payroll report filing, preparing adjusting entries financial statements
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Assist with research on a wide array of tax issues
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Perform other administrative tasks if needed
