Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as an entry level Plumbing Estimator based at our office in Weymouth, MA. The Plumbing Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for plumbing projects, analyzing project specifications, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, and assessing labor, materials, and time requirements via material & labor takeoffs. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with project managers, sourcing competitive vendor pricing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations to support the estimating process.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cost estimation, project planning, and analyzing plumbing drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and industry standards.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with FastPipe software for estimation and bid preparation is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for vendor and team coordination.
- Prior experience in plumbing estimation or a related field is highly desirable.
- Understanding of safety compliance and regulations in the construction industry.
