What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Document Control Associate position at Team Industries?
**This position is in Kaukauna, WI. Relocation or daily commute required.**
Shift: 1st (6:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Thursday, 10 hours)
Wage: $18-$20, based on experience
Department(s): Technical Operations
Reports to: Quality Control Manager
General Purpose of the Job:
Review, scan, and file drawings and reports according to the job file, input billing requirements as needed and create and review QC document packages by shipment.
Summary of Major Responsibilities/Duties:
- Review spool drawings and reports for accuracy.
- Scan and maintain job report or records on the computer system.
- Create and review QC document packages.
- Create Code Data reports as necessary.
- Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.
- Find and retrieve information from job files in response to requests from customer, project Managers or QC Personal.
- Scan or read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be classified or filed.
- Place materials into storage receptacles, such as file cabinets, boxes, bins, or drawers, according to job or by classification and identification information.
- Assign and record or stamp identification labels in order to scan documents to the job folders.
- Rejects work that is not accurate or missing information.
- Conducts work safely and follows all safety procedures.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret documents for accuracy.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers, clients, project managers, shop personal and QC personal and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
