Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Purpose: Perform precision inspection of production products.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Effectively use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other mechanical inspection equipment.
· Provide metrology support and assistance to Manufacturing and Engineering.
· Perform set up approval inspections and document as required.
· Perform capability study data collection.
· Perform Gage R&R data collection.
· Perform basic CMM inspections.
· Perform basic gage set up and repair.
· Perform and complete documentation for final audits.
· Coordinate containment of Nonconforming product and reporting.
· Generate Certification of Compliance.
· Certify shipments based on customer returns in conjunction with production.
· Create and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
· Support and positively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
· Communicate with supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner.
· Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives.
· Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.
· Perform other various duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
· High school diploma or GED
· One year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Must have a valid driver’s license
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Knowledge and experience to accurately operate standard measurement equipment
· Ability to read and follow instructions, correspondence and memos
· Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
· Using computer software - Microsoft Office, Outlook, and infopath-type software
Training:
· Reference OJT
Physical Demands
· Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs, rarely lifting up to 40 lbs
· Ability to stand up to 100% of shift
· Ability to do repetitive movements (i.e. bending, twisting, walking)
