Machine Maintenance Technician I

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Purpose: Provide support with all preventative maintenance and repair activities of all production and non-production machines/equipment/forklifts and company vehicles.  

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

·         Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.  Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program

·         Perform light preventative maintenance as assigned

·         Check and replenish all machine oil reservoirs

·         Check and replenish all machine coolant reservoirs

·         Empty all machine chip bins

·         Inspect/clean and or replace all filter mist filters

·         Replace all machine air filters as required

·         Service company vehicles as required

·         Clean/fill and inspect all forklift and floor scrubber batteries

·         Transfer coolant between tanks in coolant reclaiming system

·         Take coolant concentricity readings in all production machines and coolant reclaiming system, document all readings

·         Perform visual inspections on all online air compressors and dryers, document all readings

·         Replace all air compressor oil and air filters as required

·         Must be able to perform the above duties without direct supervision

·         Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives

·         Promote a positive atmosphere.  Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees

·         Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
