We’re looking for a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-impact HR services across the organization. Essential Position Functions
HR Operations & Systems
- Serve as the primary HR operations contact, managing employee lifecycle events including new hires, internal moves, and offboarding
- Administer and maintain our HRIS (Paycom) with a focus on data integrity and automation opportunities
- Support end-to-end payroll administration
- Handle employment verifications and maintain accurate personnel records
- Track performance review cycles and support employee development programs
- Oversee workers' compensation reporting and case follow-up
- Lead benefits administration including enrollment, audits, changes, and vendor coordination
- Own the open enrollment process and provide clear, engaging communications to employees
- Manage Workers Compensation in partnership with the ESH Manager
- Act as a resource for employees, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Contribute to engagement efforts and feedback initiatives
- Maintain and update HR policies and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational changes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (including ACA and overtime regulations)
- Support HR reporting, including workforce analytics and compliance metrics
- Support unemployment claims, and unemployment insurance in partnership with HR Manager
- Lead the administrative aspects of onboarding, ensuring a welcoming and seamless first-day experience
- Coordinate orientation sessions and support culture-building initiatives
- Education: high school diploma or GED; bachelors degree preferred in business administration, human resources, organizational management.
- Experience: 5 years of human resources generalist experience.
- Familiarity with Paycom is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
