Position Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development & Sales Representative to join our growing team at Industrial Applied Technologies, based out of their head office in Marquette, MI. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives on building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving revenue growth within the construction and contracting sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction, contracting, and development markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, developers, and key industry partners.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and bids.
- Work closely with internal teams (estimating, project management, and operations) to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company’s services.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid Driver's License
- Frequent travel to existing and new client locations across Michigan as needed.
- 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management — ideally within the construction, facilities maintenance, and/or industrial cleaning industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, bid procedures, and client relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
