Admin Assistant 1 (GCIC Terminal Operator)
The Post Release Division is seeking a highly detailed and professional individual to serve as an Admin Assistant 1 (GCIC Terminal Operator) within the Field Services Division.
Job Summary
This position represents the Agency as a GCIC Terminal Operator. Under direct supervision, the incumbent performs a wide range of GCIC terminal functions, including entering warrants and monitoring the main terminal. The job duties are complex in nature and require close attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Terminal Operations: Monitor and back up the main GCIC terminal and respond to hit confirmation requests.
Warrant Management: Accurately enter and clear warrants as required.
Teletype Communications: Send teletype holds and releases for District Operations Managers (DOMs) and the Interstate Compact Unit.
Documentation: Post notes in the Portal regarding parolee arrests and conduct second-person checks for accuracy.
Reporting: Submit Field Services logs of arrests to DOMs when monitoring the terminal.
Customer Service: Proficiently respond to telephone inquiries from internal and external stakeholders using competent knowledge and good judgment
Preferred Qualifications
Current GCIC certification.
Proficiency in GCIC, SCRIBE, Portal, and CONS systems.
