Job Overview:
As a Community Representative for Team Foster, you will play a crucial role in representing our organization at various community events and ensuring the smooth scheduling and coordination of our dog partners and Veterans. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Veteran or military community preferred: We highly value the skills and experience that veterans and military family members bring to Team Foster. While we encourage applications from all qualified candidates, we have a preference for hiring individuals who have served in the military or who are affiliated with the military community. This role required flexible hours and may include evenings and weekends, to accommodate community events and activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Community Event Representation:
- Represent Team Foster at various community events, fundraisers, networking events, and awareness campaigns.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic ambassador for the organization, effectively communicating our mission and initiatives to the public.
2. Special Events Coordination
- Responsible for scheduling Veterans and their service dogs to appear at various events.
3. Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders to expand Team Foster's network and enhance our visibility at events.
