Role Description
Team Fishel is seeking a full-time Fiber Engineer to join our team in Manassas, VA. In this on-site role, the Fiber Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing outside plant and fiber optic networks, overseeing network design and fiber installation projects, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards. The role also involves coordinating project timelines, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring progress aligns with client requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience with Outside Plant systems and network design
- Knowledge of fiber technology, including Optical Fiber and Fiber design
- Proficiency in Project Management, including the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources effectively
- Strong technical and problem-solving capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and a great work ethic
