HVAC Apprentice / Entry-Level Technician – Service & Installation

Team Enoch
Fort Worth, TX Full Time
POSTED ON 10/12/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 2/8/2027

Finished HVAC School? Ready to Turn What You Learned Into a Career?

Team Enoch is a growing HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing home-services company serving customers throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

We are looking for motivated, entry-level HVAC professionals who are ready to take what they learned in school and apply it in the field.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who has recently graduated from an HVAC trade or technical program, is currently completing HVAC school, or has entry-level HVAC experience and wants hands-on training in residential HVAC service and/or installation.

Our goal is to use the upcoming slower season to train, develop, and prepare the right candidates for next year's peak HVAC season. Depending on your skills, interests, and business needs, you may gain experience alongside both our Service and Installation teams.

You'll work with experienced HVAC professionals, develop real-world technical skills, and take on more responsibility as your knowledge and abilities grow.

What You'll Learn & Do

Depending on your training path, you may:

  • Work alongside experienced HVAC Service Technicians and Installers in the field
  • Assist with residential HVAC service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system installations
  • Gain hands-on experience with furnaces, air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, thermostats, ductwork, drain lines, electrical components, and other HVAC equipment
  • Learn proper diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
  • Learn residential HVAC installation procedures, equipment start-up, and quality-control standards
  • Develop proper use of HVAC tools, gauges, meters, and equipment
  • Learn company safety, workmanship, documentation, and customer-service standards
  • Build the technical knowledge and field experience needed to take on greater responsibility during peak season

Our Goal for You

We're looking for people who want to build a career in HVAC, not simply find a temporary helper position.

HVAC school gives you the technical foundation. This position is designed to help you develop the real-world field experience that comes from working alongside experienced HVAC professionals in customers' homes.

During the slower season, we'll focus on training, repetition, hands-on experience, and identifying where your skills are strongest—whether that's HVAC service, installation, or both.

Our goal is to develop qualified team members who are prepared to take on significantly more responsibility by next summer's peak season.

Advancement and increased responsibility are based on demonstrated technical ability, quality of work, reliability, professionalism, customer service, and overall readiness. Advancement is not guaranteed based solely on time in the position.

What We're Looking For

  • Recent HVAC trade/technical school graduates or current HVAC students are strongly preferred
  • Entry-level candidates looking for their first opportunity to gain meaningful hands-on HVAC experience
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems and principles from school or previous experience
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools
  • Genuine interest in building a long-term career in HVAC
  • Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
  • Comfortable receiving instruction, coaching, and feedback from experienced technicians
  • Detail-oriented and committed to quality workmanship
  • Professional and respectful when working in customers' homes

Physical & Scheduling Expectations

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, outdoors, and other residential environments
  • Ability to work in extremely hot attic conditions during Texas summers
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and HVAC equipment
  • Availability for overtime and up to 6 days per week during peak season when business needs require it

The Person We're Looking For

Teachable: You want to turn classroom knowledge into real-world HVAC skills and are willing to learn from experienced professionals.

Reliable: You show up on time, prepared, and ready to work.

Responsible: You take ownership of your work, equipment, training, and responsibilities.

Professional: You take pride in your work and treat customers, coworkers, and customers' homes with respect.

Driven: You want to continue developing your skills and eventually become a technician capable of handling greater responsibility independently.

Why Team Enoch?

Finishing HVAC school is an important first step. Learning how to perform the work successfully in the field is the next.

Team Enoch wants to give motivated, entry-level HVAC professionals an opportunity to bridge the gap between the classroom and the field.

You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced HVAC professionals, gain hands-on exposure to residential service and installation, and continue building your technical knowledge throughout the slower season.

We're looking for people who want to learn quickly, work hard, accept coaching, and build a long-term career in the HVAC industry.

Our goal is to develop the right candidates now so they're prepared with the skills, confidence, and real-world experience needed to take on greater responsibility when next summer's peak HVAC season arrives.
