Appliance Service Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and customer service skills, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service. This position requires field service experience and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other household equipment.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on appliances to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and recommendations.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform assembly and equipment repair tasks as needed.
• Operate a box truck for delivery of parts or appliances when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.

Skills

• Proficiency in appliance repair with hands-on experience in the field.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with a focus on electrical systems.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
• Background as a service technician with proven field service capabilities.
• Excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships.

Pay: $25.33 - $43.00 per hour
