Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Drive a box truck to transport tools and equipment to job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing repairs.
Skills
- Proficient in appliance repair with hands-on experience in troubleshooting various brands and models.
- Strong understanding of schematics and electrical systems related to appliances.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repair and assembly tasks.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus for transporting equipment.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC principles is advantageous.
- Experience as a field service technician or similar role is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
