RBT Position (Registered Behavior Technician)

Overview

We are seeking to add a highly experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to our team. Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is Required.

Only seasoned RBTs in good standing with the BACB will be considered, as this position requires that the individual be a highly skilled RBT who can provide quality services, serve as a leader on the team, assist with training new RBTs, and assist the BCBA in conducting evaluations and re-evaluations.

Dedication to providing quality services to the children we serve, consistent professionalism, and a clear understanding of the ethical obligations of client care is an absolute MUST. Duties

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or licensed professional.
• Ability to collect detailed data accurately and maintain meticulous medical records
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and other essential self-care skills.
• Support clients in developing communication, social, academic, and life skills through structured teaching methods.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing training on ABA protocols, ethical standards, and medical terminology to enhance your skills and ensure professional compliance.
• Seek all treatment and clinical guidance from the supervising BCBA
• Adhere to all company processes, policies and procedures
• Must have ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and/or spend long periods of time on your feet, as well as the ability to assist with potty training, hygiene needs, cleaning of the work area, and to lift items up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Must remain in good standing with the registry via the BACB website.

Skills

• Prior RBT experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders.
• Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and behavior management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to collect behavioral data systematically.
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote desirable behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors in a compassionate manner.
• Knowledge of medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation practices.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
