OTR Class A or B Group Drivers Needed

Job Description:

This is an Independent Contractor OTR CMV (School Bus) driving position that may require staying out on the road for multiple days, depending on the drop-off locations.

Responsibilities:

• Drivers are responsible for the condition of each vehicle during transport and will be held accountable for any damages incurred during a trip.
• Must be on time for both pick-up and drop-off locations.
• Must complete and turn in all paperwork for payout.
• Drivers will travel in groups of 3-5, one per vehicle, and are required to check in with the Lead Driver before each trip departs.

Trip Details:

• After completing a delivery, drivers will travel back to the pick-up location together as a group.
• Same-day pay may be available if all paperwork is accurate, submitted on time, and no accidents or damages occur during transport.

Job Requirements:

Driver Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable OTR CMV or School Bus driving experience within the last 3 years
• Valid Class A or Class B CDL. Passenger (P) endorsement Preferred.
• Relatively clean driving reports and employment history
• Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service rules and regulations
• Keep accurate daily DOT Driver Logs using the MOTIVE app — paper logs are not accepted.
• Must act in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Ability to work in a team setting, sharing workload and responsibilities with other drivers
• This is an Independent Contractor position — not a Company Driver or Owner/Operator role
• This is an OTR position — not Local or Regional
• Required to attend in-person Onboarding in High Point, NC
• Must take at least 1 trip per month to remain active

• A walkie talkie (may be purchased from our TeamQRT office for $15)
• Cell Phone
• Screwdrivers (Flathead & Philips)
• Adjustable Crescent Wrench
• 1/2-inch Wrench
• Blue Painters Tape

Wage Range: per mile

General Description of Benefits:
•Transportation Provided: We arrange transport from our pickup location in High Point, NC to the delivery destination anywhere in the U.S. or Canada, as well as transportation back to High Point, NC.

• Expenses Covered: Lodging and fuel costs are provided while you are active on a load.
• Canada Loads: Drivers delivering to Canada earn an additional $0.02 per mile plus a $125 bonus at the end of the trip.
• Pay & Bonuses: Same-day pay is available if all requirements are met. We also offer referral bonuses and clean inspection bonuses to qualified drivers.
