Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as PARpos for processing customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling
- Take customer orders with a friendly attitude, upsell menu items to enhance guest experience, and manage food service customer order flow efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, kitchen equipment, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in cleaning dining areas, and ensuring a tidy environment for guests
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities
- Process cash transactions accurately while managing retail sales transactions with attention to detail
Qualifications
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; food industry or café experience is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash register operations, processing payments, and giving correct change
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is advantageous but not required
