We are seeking a Technology Consultant for our Automation team that is passionate about supporting manufacturers and engineers through automation.

Our proprietary framework, RULER, empowers Engineering-to-Order (ETO), Cost Price Quote (CPQ), and other engineering and sales processes. We work with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers to streamline workflows and shape the future of industrial automation.
ROLE: Technology Consultant - Automation
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Technology Consultant, you will lead the implementation and customization of the RULER configurator for manufacturing clients, focusing on advanced automation of engineering and quoting workflows. You'll be a technical expert and trusted advisor, driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect and develop custom Ruler Customizations and Autodesk Inventor workflowsto automate complex engineering models and drawings.
- Extend and enhance the RULER framework using C#, .NET, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
- Work within Visual Studio, manage codebases using Git, and contribute to a high-quality development lifecycle.
- Integrate with CAD/CAM platforms, primarily Autodesk Inventor, to streamline engineering workflows.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced experience with Autodesk Inventor, including iLogic and Inventor API OR Experience in C#, .NET, HTML5, JavaScript and Visual Studio.
- Proven track record of developing Inventor add-ins and automating CAD models and drawings.
- Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering automation.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with CPQ or ETO
- Familiarity with other programming languages or automation frameworks.
- Background in industrial engineering, systems integration, or product configuration.
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
