What You'll Do as a Behavioral Health Technician

  • Provide hands-on autism support for children and adolescents in a structured school-based setting
  • Implement individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies
  • Assist students with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and skill-building routines
  • Track progress through accurate data collection and session documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, clinicians, and families to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Contribute to a safe, positive environment where every student can learn and thrive

Our Ideal Behavioral Health Technician

  • Holds a High School Diploma (required); an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, or Education is preferred.
  • Has experience working with children or adolescents, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other behavioral health needs.
  • Is trained or willing to be trained in crisis intervention, CPR, and First Aid.
  • Is compassionate, observant, and patient, with a genuine desire to help children and adolescents with autism succeed.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and values open communication, consistency, and feedback.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and reliability while maintaining dignity and respect in all interactions.

  • Competitive annual salary of $37,280
  • Full-time, weekday schedule (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) with no evenings or weekends
