What You'll Do as an Installation Foreman
- Lead installation crews and direct daily job-site activities to keep projects safe, productive, and on schedule.
- Oversee the installation of bulk propane systems, ensuring all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Perform hands-on installation work, including piping layout, cutting, threading, welding, and equipment operation as needed.
- Communicate safety expectations, conduct job-site hazard assessments, and promote a strong culture of safety.
- Monitor project progress, maintain daily logs, and provide regular updates to supervisors and project management teams.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce resources to support efficient project execution.
- Investigate and address job-site challenges, safety concerns, and operational issues in partnership with management.
- Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Our Ideal Installation Foreman
- Experienced Leader: Brings at least two years of leadership experience and can effectively direct crews in a construction, industrial, piping, or installation environment.
- Technically Skilled: Can read schematics and detailed site drawings and possesses strong mechanical aptitude. Willing to perform hands-on installation work. Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
- Industry Knowledgeable: Has basic knowledge of propane or related equipment, has completed CETP or equivalent propane industry training, and understands industry best practices.
- Reliable & Accountable: Takes ownership of projects, follows through on commitments, and leads crews with confidence and consistency.
- Safety-Focused: Prioritizes safe work practices, follows procedures, and promotes accountability on every job site.
- Adaptable Traveler: Enjoys working outdoors, traveling extensively, and tackling unique projects in different locations throughout the East Coast.
