What You'll Do as an Excavation Foreman Assistant:
- Assist with daily excavation and sitework activities on residential and light commercial projects within approximately one hour of Bernville, PA.
- Perform rough grading, finish grading, trenching, and general excavation work alongside the crew.
- Operate excavation equipment and drive a tri-axle dump truck safely and efficiently.
- Help execute daily project tasks and maintain workflow when the Foreman is off-site.
- Support and guide less experienced crew members in safe and effective excavation practices.
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment needed to keep projects running efficiently throughout the day.
- Uphold GHL Construction's standards for safety, workmanship, and job site quality.
Our Ideal Excavation Foreman Assistant:
- Experienced: At least 3 years of excavation experience in sitework, grading, or related construction work and holds a CDL-A license or is willing to work toward obtaining one with company support.
- Leadership Potential: Has a strong desire to learn, grow, and develop into a future Foreman role.
- Dependable Communication: Communicates clearly with crew members and leadership to help projects run smoothly and efficiently.

- Active: Able to lift up to 75 pounds, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and handle the physical demands of excavation work.
