What You'll Do as a Construction Crew Member
- Build your skills while performing hands-on carpentry work, including framing, roofing, siding, window installation, trim work, painting, and other phases of construction.
- Work alongside experienced craftsmen to complete projects with quality workmanship and attention to GHL Construction's standards.
- Assist the foreman with daily construction activities on residential new construction and remodeling projects.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site by following established safety practices and identifying potential hazards.
- Travel to project sites throughout the Berks County area, starting and ending each workday at our Bernville shop.
- Learn new techniques and expand your construction knowledge through on-the-job training and a variety of residential building projects.

- Experienced: Previous construction or carpentry experience is preferred, but we're happy to train someone with the right attitude and commitment to quality.
- Dependable: Shows up on time, communicates well, follows through on responsibilities, and takes pride in a job well done.
- Capable: Can safely lift up to 75 pounds, work from ladders and scaffolding, and perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Team-Oriented: Enjoys working alongside others and contributes to a positive, respectful job site where relationships, craftsmanship, and teamwork matter.
