Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles to transport passengers between designated locations, such as airports, hotels, rental car facilities, and other points of interest.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers, assisting with luggage, and answering any questions about the shuttle service or local area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other motorists.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained shuttle vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times when interacting with passengers and representing the company.
- Follow designated routes and schedules, while also being flexible to accommodate special requests or changes in itinerary.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts for reporting purposes.
- Assist passengers with disabilities or special needs, such as providing wheelchair access or accommodating service animals, in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers or other team members to coordinate pick-up and drop-off locations, as well as any changes to the schedule or route.
- Uphold the company's standards of safety, reliability, and professionalism in all aspects of the job.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a shuttle driver or similar role preferred.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact courteously and professionally with passengers from diverse backgrounds.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions and instructions effectively.
- Physical ability to lift and carry luggage, assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, and perform other related tasks as needed.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required by the employer.
