The ESOP is a fantastic benefit because employee-owners contribute no personal funds to the plan.JOB DESCRIPTIONThis role is for Customer Service Representative with Outside Sales position responsible for managing inbound product inquiries, resolving customer service concerns, and executing outbound sales efforts to drive revenue growth. The candidate will handle general inquiries, provide product and service information, and deliver technical support, including fitment guidance, warranty assistance, and product recommendations. In addition, the role includes analyzing customer feedback and identifying opportunities to improve service processes and overall customer experience.Beyond inbound support, the position requires a strong outside sales focus. The candidate will build and maintain relationships with general repair shops, muffler shops, installers, dealerships, and distributors to promote Team Allied’s products and fulfillment services across assigned territories. Responsibilities include cold calling, in-person visits with prospective clients and business owners, and identifying opportunities to expand market share while maintaining a high level of customer service.The role also involves gathering market intelligence, monitoring competitor activity, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are aligned with product offerings and service capabilities. A strong understanding of the automotive aftermarket—particularly emissions and exhaust components—is highly preferred.Key responsibilities further include prospecting new customers, delivering product demonstrations, and achieving or exceeding monthly sales targets. The ideal candidate is dynamic, results-driven, and brings a proven track record in both customer service and sales, along with strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Process customer order files and provide tracking and delivery updates in the required formats.• Respond to incoming customer inquiries about specific products based on vehicle year, make, model, and type.• Address general customer service concerns and deliver prompt, effective solutions tailored to customer needs.• Conduct outbound sales calls to current and prospective customers to generate business.• Analyze existing customer accounts to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities.• Responsible for identifying opportunities to upsell, capitalize on promotions, and effectively cross-sell products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue. • Maintain and provide detailed records of customer interactions and updates via weekly and monthly field reports.• Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and cold-calling potential clients within the respective territory.• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, including muffler shops, general repair shops, dealerships, and distributors.• Ensure timely follow-ups on customer inquiries, orders, and account management needs.• Gather customer feedback, and report on competitor activities to build and coordinate sales strategies.• Analyze sales reports to identify market trends, sales gaps, missed opportunities, and achieve monthly/annual sales goals.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS• Prior experience in customer service is required.• Strong knowledge of customer service principles and processes, including needs assessment, quality standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation.• Excellent active listening and communication skills.• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.•Proficient in Microsoft Suite/Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint..• Familiarity with inventory management software is not mandatory but preferred.• Being an automotive performance enthusiast is a plus!• Bilingual (English/Spanish)• Capability to maintain focus for 8 hours per day on the phones and in front of a computer.• Proven experience (5 years) as an outside sales rep in related field.• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.• Must possess a strong analytical background with strong reporting skills.• Valid U.S. issued driver’s license.• Meet insurance requirements, including a minimum of three years of driving experience with a clean record.EDUCATION• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
