Job Description

The Project Controls and Administration Manager oversees full lifecycle engineering and construction projects, leading project controls functions including cost, schedule, contract administration, and business requirements. This role supports multi-disciplinary coordination and ensures successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and schedule.

Job Duties


• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, milestones, resource allocations, and critical path.

• Collaborate with teams to develop and track project budgets, performing variance analysis.

• Generate, approve, and review budgets and forecasts.

• Track and analyze project progress to ensure adherence to timelines.

• Provide detailed cost, schedule, and contract status reports.

• Oversee Scheduler function and close integration gaps between contracts.

• Conduct cost variance analysis and implement corrective actions.

• Provide monthly forecasting and reports.

• Manage project risks using a risk register and support mitigation plans.

• Manage change control processes, documenting impacts.

• Lead and coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

• Delegate tasks based on expertise and project needs.

• Support professional development within project control teams.

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders and maintain project documentation.

• Support commissioning and project closeout activities.

• Ensure adherence to EHS regulations and support safety compliance.

• Oversee contract administration processes and ensure compliance.

Job Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.

• 7–12 years of experience in project management or project controls.

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in EPC environments.

• Preferred certifications: PMP, CCP, CST, PCP, EVP, or equivalent.

• Proficient in Primavera, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with EHS systems and risk management preferred.

• Strong decision-making and problem‑solving abilities.

• Ability to travel up to 25%.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
