Sales Manager
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing the sales team to drive growth within the power generation and marine industries. This role involves creating and executing strategic sales plans, managing key client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities to expand market share and strengthen the company’s position as a trusted industry partner
Location: Brookshire, TX- Hybrid Setup
40% Travel Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue goals.
- Manage, coach, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed performance metrics.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture new business.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales initiatives with company goals.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals effectively.
- Ensure CRM data integrity and maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales representatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5 years of proven sales experience, including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
- Demonstrated success selling into the power generation, marine, or related industrial markets
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex equipment and systems (e.g., turbines, engines, generators, propulsion systems)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
