Performance Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ability to enhance academic performance and support for implementation of the school district’s student achievement goals
- Demonstrate competence in content knowledge appropriate to the teaching position
- Demonstrate competence in planning and preparing for instruction
- Use strategies to deliver instruction that meets the multiple learning needs of students
- Use a variety of methods to monitor student learning
- Demonstrate competence in classroom management
- Engage in professional growth
- Fulfill professional responsibilities established by the school district
- Attend staffing meetings as assigned by Building Principal
- Work with Curriculum and Development at building level in all areas assigned
- Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and community partners
- Supervise student activities including but not limited to recess, lunch, passing in halls, as assigned by Building Principal
- Maintain an adequate understanding of technologies utilized in classroom and related areas
- Perform all other duties and assume all other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Building Principal/District Administration
