What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Nurse position at TeachIowa?
The Griswold Community School District in Griswold, Iowa is hiring for a School Nurse. The successful candidate will be able to use clinical knowledge, provide basic health services to students and staff, perform health screenings, develop individualized plans for students, case management and coordinate student health referrals as necessary. This position should be able to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students despite a busy working environment. This position is a 180-day contract dependent on the school calendar. This position will remain open until filled. - Licensed Registered Nurse by the Iowa Board of Nursing
- DOT Drug and Alcohol Collector Certification or willingness to obtain
- BLS/CPR Certification or willingness to obtain
