Key Responsibilities:
Library Management

Organize, maintain, and update the library collection (print and digital materials).

Catalog and classify library materials using library management systems.

Supervise library use and ensure a welcoming, safe, and productive environment.
Instructional Support

Teach information literacy and research skills

Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver lessons aligned with curriculum standards.

Promote reading and literature appreciation through book talks, reading programs, and library events.
Technology Integration

Introduce and support the use of educational technologies and digital tools in research and learning.

Guide students and staff in evaluating and using digital resources effectively and responsibly.
Collection Development

Select and acquire materials that support the curriculum and reflect student interests

Conduct regular weeding of outdated or damaged materials.
Student Support

Help students choose books appropriate to their reading level and interests.

Encourage independent reading and inquiry-based learning.
Professional Collaboration

Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.

Serve as a resource to faculty for instructional materials and library services.
