- Instruction & Coaching: Teach golf techniques, rules, and strategies, offering both individual and team training sessions.
- Program Management: Create practice schedules, arrange transportation, and manage match lineups.
- Student Development: Motivate athletes to achieve academic and athletic potential, focusing on discipline and sportsmanship.
- Safety & Supervision: Ensure safety during practices/matches, supervise players at all times, and verify eligibility, including parent consent forms.
- Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with athletes, parents, school administration, and opposing coaches.
- Budgeting & Equipment: Oversee inventory, including uniforms and equipment, and assist with fundraising.
- Experience: Proven experience in coaching golf and mentoring student-athletes.
- Certification: Valid coaching license/certificate required by the state or district
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of golf rules and techniques.
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk golf courses, and lift equipment (approx. \(25\)-\(50\) pounds).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
