Job Description for Elementary Paraeducator
- Assist in the delivery of instruction as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Support students with special educational needs, including those with physical disabilities.
- Implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) and manage student behavior.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students at all times.
- Follow verbal and written instructions and work as part of a team.
- Maintain school staff and student confidentiality.
- Develop a positive role in school and community relations.
- Have effective communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
