What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at TeachIowa?
The Hampton-Dumont Community School District has an opening for a High School Afternoon/Night Custodian. Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Responsibilities include but limited to the following.
1. Report any general plumbing or electrical issues to maintenance supervisor.
2. Maintain proper supply levels for the building including all cleaning supplies, bathroom supplies, cleaning equipment, electrical and plumbing supplies, and all other building supplies necessary to operate the building throughout the school year.
3. Clean, sweep, dust, disinfect, mop, empty waste baskets, and vacuum all rooms on a daily basis.
4. Clean and disinfect all bathrooms, drinking fountains, wrestling room, and locker rooms daily.
5. To help in the moving of all furniture and equipment as needed.
6. To report all vandalism to the maintenance supervisor.
7. To assume all other duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor. principal, or superintendent of the district.
