Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a bus safely along assigned routes and schedules
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Assist passengers, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Maintain order and ensure passenger safety during transit
- Handle emergencies or unexpected situations calmly and effectively
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and incidents
Requirements and Skills:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement (requirements vary by location)
- Clean driving record
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
