Iowa Valley Elementary is seeking a 3rd Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

An elementary classroom teacher is responsible for educating young minds, creating lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Lesson Plans: Create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum guidelines and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess Student Performance: Evaluate student progress through various assessments and provide feedback to students and parents regarding their academic development.
- Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and promotes social and emotional growth.
- Communicate with Parents and Staff: Maintain open lines of communication with parents about student progress and behavior, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning experiences.
- Particpate in Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and improve teaching strategies.
- Experience: Previous experience in teaching at the elementary level is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in using educational technology is also important.
