What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook and Dishwasher position at Teaching Tree Early Childhood Learning Center?
Teaching Tree Early Childhood Learning Center is a non-profit childcare center hiring a full time Prep Cook/Dishwasher for our kitchen. The position is full time Monday-Friday from 7-4 with an hour break. Teaching Tree participates in the Colorado Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) and we serve 3 family style meals to over 150 children daily.
Candidates will be responsible for working alongside the kitchen manager to prepare daily a breakfast, lunch and snack that meet CACFP guidelines and to wash and prepare dishes for all meals.
Prior kitchen experience and safe food handling classes preferred. However, we will train on site for safe food handling via Servsafe as well as CACFP guidelines.
Starting pay is $15.00-$16.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
