POSITION: ELEMENTARY MATH LEADER
Effective 2025-26 School Year
LOCATION: KETTERING CITY SCHOOLS
GENERAL INFORMATION: Seeking applicants with an Ohio Teaching License Prek-3 with 4-5 Endorsement or 1-8 Ohio Teaching License who have the ability to teach the full range of Elementary Classes.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List:
- Primary role is to work with teachers and staff to support best practices in using data, provide analysis of trends in math instruction, and make recommendations about potential next steps to address areas of need.
- Serve as an advisor to teachers and leadership team.
- Assist in the implementation and evaluation of mathematic curriculum and intervention programs across the district.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skills in collecting, analyzing and using data for decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution.
- Valid State of Ohio teaching license for assignment.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license.
- Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
- Mathematics concentration strongly preferred.
- At least 3 years successful teaching experience of mathematics at K-5 level.
SALARY: According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
