Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person homeschool teacher for a 15 year old boy who is behind grade level (roughly 4th-8th grade) to teach basic academic subjects at his home north of Waco, TX in 76640. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position Monday-Thursday mornings 8:30am-12:30pm teaching one student that pays $50/hour ($800/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the current 2025/26 school year.

Looking for a teacher who is able to teach homeschool and facilitate all core subjects for a 15 year old boy who is a slow learner. (The family is willing to collaborate with the right teacher about which curriculum will be used, but it will likely be a Christian-based curriculum.) The teacher will assess and identify educational needs, teach core academic subjects, and review progress with the parents.

Looking for a teacher who is fun, engaging and caring, but focused and strict when necessary to keep the student on track. The right teacher will be encouraging, and able to communicate and develop a rapport with a 15 year old boy. The focus will be improving his basic academic skills in English Language Arts (phonics, reading, spelling, writing, vocabulary, comprehension) and math so he will have a stronger academic life skills foundation. Prior reading specialist training is preferred, but not required.

Teacher candidates must be have at least a BA and a minimum of two years professional classroom teaching experience. State certification is preferred, but not required. Teachers To Go has been offering classroom teachers private job opportunities with flexible scheduling since 2007.
