Essential Functions
- Manage Windows/Linux workstations and servers
- Upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware
- Provide frontline support ensuring all tickets are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
- Establish and maintain current and correct documentation, assist with policy and procedure development
- Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts
- Assist in planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Training technical and non-technical staff on new systems, protocols, and best practices
- Work alternate shifts when necessary and serve in an on-call capacity, including holidays and weekends as designated by the Technical Systems Manager or Supervisor
- Assist with the planning and implementation of the TRS disaster recovery plan. This includes participating in the annual disaster recovery test
- Serve as project leader to make recommendations for appropriate hardware/software solutions
- Assist IT Engineers to ensure adequate security and technology policies are enacted
- Occasional travel may be required
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline and two (2) years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis
- Adept knowledge of and experience working with PowerShell or other scripting language
- Adept knowledge of network protocols and standards
- Must be able to work within a fast-paced environment that requires frequent attention shifts
- Adept communication skills, emotional intelligence, humility, and drive
- Proactive, self-starter able to work with limited supervision
- Adept time and project management skills
