High School Tutor - Homework Help (Short Hills, NJ)
We are currently seeking a part-time High School Tutor to assist students in the Short Hills, NJ area. We are especially interested in educators who can support multiple core subjects, including Math, English Language Arts, Sciences, and History. This role involves working one-on-one with students to reinforce foundational skills, support school assignments, and prepare for assessments. Tutors who can provide homework help, study strategies, and executive functioning support are highly valued.
Qualifications:
- Experience – Classroom teaching and/or tutoring experience, especially with high school students
- Content Knowledge – Strong understanding of high school curriculum across two or more core subjects (ex. Algebra II and US History)
- Motivation – A genuine commitment and desire to help students succeed
- Energetic, Friendly, Professional yet Personal
- Commitment – Working consistently to meet learning goals
- Car – Must have reliable transportation and be willing to tutor in person in Short Hills and nearby areas
- Stellar Communication Skills
